In the late 60’s a small group of Westerners followed Ram Dass to India to meet Neem Karoli Baba, a great Saint of the last century. There, they met his disciple, KC Tewari, a brilliantly disguised high Yogi himself who became key to their spiritual quest and later efforts to bring these teachings to the West. Here, these same thought leaders tell their amazing and often humorous tales of an exceptional family man and secret Yogi.
Brilliant Disguise features Krishna Das, Jai Uttal, Raghu Markus, Radha Baum, and others – including KC’s two sons, as well as rare archival interviews with KC himself. Set in the stunning backdrop of India, the film is adorned with spectacular and moving footage from the 1989 Maha Kumbha Mela—the largest spiritual gathering in the world, attended by KC and the group of Westerners featured throughout this colorful biopic.
Betty Riaz
Since 2009, Betty has connected and shared the teachings of healing and spiritual practices of the Tibetan Yogic Tradition. Her mission is to help others through her work at Stil Studio, teaching yoga and mindfulness, healing bodywork and leading global retreats. She is co-owner of Stil Studio & Terma Goods, both located in Historic Downtown Dedham. She is eternally grateful to her teachers from the Tibetan Vajrayana practices; Khenpo Lama Migmar Tsetsen, Kevan Gale, Dr. Eric Rosenbush and Dr. Nida Chenagtsang.
