March 6th 2024 | Morning Arrival in Paro and drive direct to Punakha (3 hrs drive)
Fly on the wings of the Dragon to Bhutan, on arrival in Paro International Airport, complete the immigration formalities and exit through only one arrival gate where our dedicated team will welcome you with khaddar and proceed to Punakha, Bhutan and its glorious Countryside.

Punakha is often referred as second capital having best Dzong of Bhutan. Punakha has the perfect place to awaken the nature lover, take in the splendid views of the Himalayas and listen to the sounds of the Mo Chhu and Po Chhu rivers that simply soak up the serene beauty of this gorgeous valley. March 8th 2024 | Punakha to Paro via Thimphu
As we proceed to Paro, the entire stretch of drive will refresh your mind and give you second chance to enjoy the great snowcapped mountain views of the Himalayas from Dochula.
Visit the massive statue of Shakyamuni measures in at a height of 150 feet making it one of the largest statues of Buddha in the world. Explore the tiny town of Tiny Paro town . Overnight in Spirit Sanctuary, altitude 6600 feet.
March 9th 2024 | Tiger Nest Temple
The name Taktsang translates to “The Tiger’s Nest”. This temple is
one of the holiest sites in the kingdom and clings impossibly to a sheer cliff face 2700 feet above the Paro Valley. It was first built in 1692 at a cave where Guru Rinpoche meditated in the 7th century A.D. Legend states that Guru Rinpoche flew to the site atop the back of a tigress and meditated in the cave for 3 years, 3 months, 3 days, and 3 hours in order to subdue evil demons residing within it. The cave has been considered a sacred site ever since and many famous yogis have traveled to meditate in it.

We recommend flying via Qatar Airlines or Emirates with one stop to Kathmandu.
We will arrange the flights from Kathmandu to Paro, Bhutan 6 months before retreat begins. We will let you know the cost at the time.
