THE INVITATIONSlow down. Tune in. Come back stronger.
There is a story women are told about age: that it is something to outrun. This retreat tells a different one. From January 22 to 24, 2027, we gather for two winter nights at a historic 1792 estate on 47 private acres in the Berkshires to explore the power that arrives with age, through mindful movement, meditation, quiet reflection, and the timeless wisdom of Ayurveda shared by Ayurvedic Practitioner Jenny Johnson. Between sessions: fireside tea, snow hushed walks, live music, deep rest, and the rare pleasure of being in good company.
HOW THE DAYS UNFOLD01 Mindful Movement
Morning yoga and guided meditation led by Betty Riaz and guest teacher Jen Frey. Practices designed for strength, balance, and bone and joint health, building the body you'll live in for decades to come.
02 Ayurveda & Seasonal Living
Sessions with Ayurvedic Practitioner Jenny Johnson on aligning with the rhythms of winter and harnessing the healing power of food for energy, sleep, mood, and long term vitality.
03 Nourishment
Warming, seasonal meals inspired by Ayurvedic principles and composed to sustain energy through winter. Food as a daily act of longevity.
04 Rest, Music & Reflection
Fireside evenings with live tunes by special guest musician Carla Ryder, winter walks across 47 quiet acres, journaling, and true stillness.
OUR RETREAT HOMEOur home for the weekend is a historic 1792 estate set on 47 private acres in Richmond, Massachusetts, with sweeping views of the Berkshire hills. In deep winter the landscape turns inward, with snow quieted fields, bare woods, and long views, and the house answers with firelight, warm gathering rooms, and generous space to retreat.
The estate holds both togetherness and solitude: room to practice, to talk late by the fire, and to disappear with a book and a cup of tea. It is a place built for exactly this kind of pause.
